Corte D’Aibo is a vineyard covering 35 hectares and lies within the Historical Park of Monteveglio Abbey. Old records show that at the beginning of the 16th C church offi cials of the Monastery of Monteveglio had already started to buy pieces of land in the area known as the “vineyards of d’Aibo” demonstrating that our land has been used for wine production for centuries. Our strength, then, is our wines which are produced exclusively with our own grapes which have been cultivated following organic practices and are certifi ed by A.I.A.B. (Italian Association of Organic Agriculture). Out of the vineyard’s greenery rises the farmhouse with its red hues typical of Bologna. The main part of the building dates back to the 16th C and, in all probability, was originally a convent. It has a small farm restaurant and four bedrooms with typical furnishings so that our
guests can enjoy the typical food and tranquillity of the area.
