SIMONINI GIAMPIERO FARM

The vineyard covers an area of 11 hectares, 7 over of which are given over to growing grapes and is situated in the hills of Castelvetro di Modena at an altitude of 200 metres a.s.l. The property is called “Ca’ Barana” and has been in the family for four generations. The main output is of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC – dry and sweet wines typical of these hills. The vineyard also produces Pinot Bianco of Emilia, Malvasia (a quality sweet aromatic spumante) and Trebbiano of Modena which we use to produce the boiled must for Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale. We sell wine in bottles and demijohns directly to the public.
